TERMS & CONDITIONS

Liability & Consent:

 

Galaxy Sports Asia Ltd is a fully insured sports coaching provider. However, by enrolling in any of Galaxy Sports Asia Ltd services and activities, you do so at your own risk and Galaxy Sports Asia Ltd, it’s owners, employees and coaches will not be held liable for any personal injury or loss of property, during any of our sports programs, holiday camps or any other programs that are being delivered by Galaxy Sports Asia Ltd.

 

By enrolling in any of Galaxy Sports Asia Ltd services and activities, you affirm that your child is in good physical condition to exercise. You warrant that your child has not at any time suffered blackout, seizure, convulsion, fainting, dizzy spells or any other medical condition and is not presently receiving treatment for any illness, disorder or injury which would render it unsafe for your child to take part in any of Galaxy Sports Asia Ltd programs. 

 

His/her participation is purely voluntary and in no way mandated by Galaxy Sports Asia Ltd. Also, you understand that he/she can stop anytime if he/she has any discomfort or even without any particular reason. If your child has any previous medical conditions, please inform us in advance.

Enrolment:

​

If you enroll with Galaxy Sports Asia Ltd, you are enrolling for the full term (course) and its stated number of lessons & as such will need to pay the full course ticket. If a course has already started students will only be charged for the remaining number of lessons. 

​

• Slots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis with priority registration procedure available for re-enrolling students.

• Payments must be received in full before your first class. Galaxy Sports Asia Ltd reserves the right to refuse your child’s participation for class until full payment is made.

• Please check the time, dates and venue of your booking carefully and take note of any statutory holidays.

• Please ensure that you have read and understood all the conditions before confirmation and payment of your booking. 

• If your child has any special requirements/needs and/or medical conditions, please inform us in advance via email/WhatsApp.

 

A new student can enroll for a one time only free trial lesson (subject to course availability), all subsequent sessions will be charged at the remaining number of lessons as per course ticket.

Weather & Cancellation Policy:

All Lessons will be canceled if the HK Observatory raises:

​

 

• Black Storm warning.

• Typhoon No. 8 Signal.

Outdoor lessons will be canceled if the Air Quality Health Index reaches level 10.

Any other cancellations due to bad weather will be at the discretion of Galaxy Sports Asia Ltd and will be credited against any future payment or we will provide a make up session if and when possible. Credits will be given to you in the form of a coupon code at the end of the course upon request. 

 

 

Credit & Make-up Policy:

 

• We do not offer refunds for our services unless the program is cancelled by us due to insufficient participants. In this case, the class will be cancelled before the start date and all registered participants will be refunded in full.

• If a student is unable to attend class due to personal reasons, parents are required to contact the office in advance to arrange a make-up class. This will depend on availability.  

• Only a maximum of 2 credits are allowed to be brought forward to the next term (not inclusive of classes cancelled by Galaxy Sports Asia Ltd). Thus, we strongly encourage children to attend all the classes they are booked in for.  

• Class Credits left unused in the new term will automatically expire after the term ends. No refunds will be given for unused credits that have expired.

• If a class/camp is cancelled by us for reasons such as bad weather or the coach is sick, we will notify you as soon as possible via Whatsapp or other means of communication. We will arrange a makeup session on a suitable alternative day, time or venue, subjected to availability.  

• All other refund requests will only be considered under special circumstances and on a case-by-case basis.

Lesson Etiquette:

​

Please arrive on time to your class to enjoy the maximum benefit, also arriving late may disrupt the class for the coach and the rest of the children.

Students aged 2 - 5 years old are required to be accompanied by a parent / guardian at all times. Students aged 2 - 3 years old need to be assisted during sessions.

In the event you are collecting your child at one of our classes please be on time as coaches are not responsible for your child outside of class time. If you cannot collect your child, you need to inform the Galaxy Sports Asia Ltd office immediately.

Galaxy Sports Asia Ltd have full control over their lessons and students, we reserve the right to expel any students from a course on the grounds of unacceptable behavior towards the coaches and / or fellow students. (credit/refund will not be offered for the remaining lessons).

Sports Attire:

​

• It is the responsibility of all parents/guardians to ensure their children are dressed in proper sports attire for each lesson.

• Upon enrolling to a full course new students are required to purchase a Galaxy Sports uniform.

• Students are required to wear the complete uniform (T-shirt, Shorts & Socks) to all lessons.

• Sports shoes are also required. Flip flops, crocs or open-toed footwear of any description are not allowed.

• If enrolled to Galaxy Soccer program shin guards are required for all students aged 4 years & above.

Photos / Videos:

‍Galaxy Sports Asia Ltd may use photos or videos taken during sports lessons for use in promotional materials and our website. These photos or videos will not be passed onto any third parties. Please contact us if you do not want your child in any of these photos.

 

 

Coronavirus, Influenza & Other Health Related Warnings:

‍In the event of tightened government restrictions surrounding coronavirus, a rise in influenza cases or any political disturbances preventing the legal and safe operation of our classes, the lesson(s) and or course(s) will be cancelled, and credit will be issued towards future enrolments. No refunds will be awarded for missed classes due to Covid-19, or any other health related outbreak.

Party Policy:

​

Galaxy Sports Asia Ltd Parties can be tailored on a person-by-person basis. If you have any special requirements for your party, please make sure you email us the details in advance of the party so we can confirm these with you. Parties can be cancelled up to 48 hours, cancellations after this will require full payment. Galaxy Sports Asia Ltd, it’s owners, employees and coaches will not be held liable for any personal injury or loss of property, to any participants during any party events.
